About the Monitor

A ledger, not a lobby.

Fireworks kill and maim horses every year. Most incidents never leave the stable. Owners bury the animal, veterinarians file the report, and the wider record shows nothing. This monitor exists so those incidents are counted.

We accept reports from horse owners, yard managers, and veterinarians. To keep the ledger credible, every submission must be accompanied by documentary proof — a veterinary report, photographic evidence of the injury or damage, or a verifiable news reference.

Submissions are reviewed manually. Reports without adequate proof are held in pending status and are not shown publicly. Contact information provided by submitters is never published.
